Why stay in a vacation home rather than a hotel?

Do you prefer more privacy, space, and comfort?  Most people do!  The Accommodations at Storm Mountain Cabin are superior in comparison to a standard hotel and 1800 square feet is perfect for a group or family.  You can prepare meals in the fully furnished kitchen or enjoy the books, games, and DVDs that are located in the great room!

How do I make a reservation?

Call us at (888) 934-1116 or fill out the form on the Reservations page and we'll contact you within 48 hours.  Or Contact Us by calling one of the numbers listed.

Where can I find the seasonal rates?

What is your payment policy?

A deposit, equivalent to the price of one night, is required to reserve a date.  The remaining balance is due one week prior to your vacation.

Is there a cleaning fee for the cabin?

Yes, there is a one-time cleaning fee of $104.  This amount will be included in your total rental balance (which is due one week prior to check-in).

What is the check in procedure and time?

Check in starts at 4:00 pm.

When is check-out?

The departure time is 10:00 am.

What is the cancellation policy?

A full refund of the deposit is granted if the cancellation is made 30 days prior to the first day of your rental. A deposit refund is forfeited for any notification less than 30 days.

Is there a "minimum night stay"?

Yes, there is a minimum stay requirement that fluctuates throughout the different seasons.  You will be notified when you inquire about reservation dates.

Who is responsible if there are any damages to the property?

Following each rental, the cabin is thoroughly cleaned and inspected.  Guests are responsible to pay for any damages to the property and/or for items missing upon check-out.

Is someone available to contact if there is a problem after I arrive?

A binder in the cabin has the contact information of a person available to you throughout your stay.

Does Storm Mountain Cabin allow for pets?

No, pets are not allowed in or on the property.  This is to protect the home as well as our guests that are allergic to animals.

Is your cabin smoke free?

Yes, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin.

How do I report a missing item?

Please call (888) 934-1116 if personal property is left behind in the cabin.  Shipping will be at the expense of the guest.

Is the property handicap accessible?

Yes, the entrance and main level in the cabin are handicap accessible.

Do I need to bring linens?

For your convenience, the cabin is stocked with towels and bed linens are provided.

Are telephone and Internet available in the cabin?

The cabin has a strong signal for cell phone usage and has wireless internet.  There is not a landline in the cabin.

Is there a grocery store nearby the cabin?

Krull's Market and Spirits is located less than 1 mile from Storm Mountain Cabin.
